Is September 8th a national day of indoctrination for our children?

On September 8, 2009 our President will be addressing our children while they are at school. According to www.ed.gov the President will “challenge students to work hard, set education goals, and take responsibility for their education.”  This appears to be innocent enough but it is curious that the President of the United States of America plans to address our children during a time of the day where parents are not present.  What is more concerning is that the White House has issued an entire daily planned agenda for the teachers to direct them as to how they should conduct their classroom that day.  Innocent address to our children or an attempt to indoctrinate our children?  You decide.

According to www.cnsnews.com a “United Nations group that supports teaching 5-8 year-olds about masturbation is partly funded by the United States ($78.1 million in the 2010 fiscal year according to the State Department).  President Reagan withdrew the United States’ membership due to the the group’s (UNESCO- UN Educational Scientific, and Cultural Organization) hostility toward a free society, especially a free market and free press.  This story is to help demonstrate early childhood indoctrination.  Why any government feels a need to teach children about a personal and sexual processes at all is inconceivable but to do it so far away from puberty is outrageous.  Our country should steer away from programs like that, that force sexual education on young children and away from the responsibility of the parents.

Our government, instead of veering away from ludicrous indoctrination of children, would rather take the rights of parents away.  In February of 2009, FoxNews reported that Barbara Boxer sought to ratify an old UN measure to extend the rights of children.  This measure could create such things as, “the right of the child to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.”  According to Michael Ferris, President of parentalrights.org, the government can make decisions on how parents discipline their children or lead and guide their children.

The responsibility of raising children should be that of the parents, not the government but more than ever, this group of Washington “leaders” have pushed for less parental control and more government control.  At what point do Americans wake up and say, “enough is enough”?  It is a definite must to have your kids home on September 8th and whether you allow your children to watch this address  is your choice but it definitely should be done under the shelter and protection of you not a state worker whose day’s agenda is being controlled by the very person addressing your children.

A fellow blogger and close friend of mine reported on this atrocity today and as a mother of three she had some words of wisdom for all moms, “Your children should not be used to advance a political agenda.  You cannot stay asleep in your nice bubble of complacency.  They will take your children’s minds if you do that.  Our children are the keys to the next generation.”   Our current government recognizes our children as an asset, do you?  Please take a moment to review the below video and just how indoctrinating the next generation can change history.
